Insider activity research terminal

Hamilton Insight

A research terminal for sorting insider activity before it becomes noise.

Hamilton Insight interface preview

Project story

Why it exists.

Hamilton Insight is the strongest finance iteration because it has both the terminal feel and the data workflow shape. S&P 500 and Russell 3000 views, insider flow, sector heat, scoring, and transaction tables all sit in one place.

The product is framed as research software, not a trading signal machine. Insider sales and purchases need context, so the interface leaves room for filing notes, ownership changes, transaction type, and analyst review.

As a portfolio piece, it shows comfort with dense financial information, domain-specific labels, and the kind of restraint a serious market tool needs.

Direction

How the idea becomes usable.

Market-universe triage

The dashboard can compare broad universes and pull reported insider activity into a smaller research queue.

Signal scoring with context

Scores, role filters, volume, momentum, and ownership changes help prioritize filings without pretending one number tells the whole story.

Compliance-aware framing

The copy treats the product as research support. It avoids presenting demo data or AI notes as financial advice.

Hosting Path

The interface shell can host as a static front end, while real data, auth, import/export, and private records would move behind serverless routes or a managed backend.
